Supporting Economic Development, Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Sustainable development

Enviromental Protection and Rational Management of Natural Resources
Scandinavian Foundation was established on the basis of many years of experience and knowledge gained by its founders.
Our ideas are based on three main pillars:
-
SUPPORTING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATION
The development of entrepreneurship, understood both in social terms, i.e. human activity, and in economic activity, is a necessary condition for general development bringing improvement in the living conditions of the local community. However, entrepreneurship cannot function without innovation. Low competitiveness to a large extent results from deficits in the field of product innovation and the availability and use of modern technologies by enterprises. In turn, entrepreneurship and innovation should be stimulated by foreign investments, therefore it is necessary to create optimal conditions for this. In its activities, the Foundation supports numerous enterprises (and not only) in their development, and also aims to improve their position in a world of constant changes.
SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
In our mission, we strive to spread the idea of sustainable development in business. Along with the acquired knowledge, we want to use it to the benefit of our donors. In our work, we focus primarily on efficiency in achieving the set goals and achieving the best results in the optimal time. Therefore, we take all actions based on the identification of problems and the selection of the most optimal, including non-standard, methods of solving them. We focus on complementary activities and ways of thinking that assume a balanced approach, which excludes concentration on one area of business. The key assumption of this strategy is to manage, create and influence all aspects in such a way that each of them individually and together create the desired coherent whole. In our opinion, development is not possible with the neglect of important sectors of the functioning of countries and enterprises.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND RATIONAL MANAGEMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES
A foundation implementing the strategy of sustainable development also strives for social and ecological balance in its activities. Resources: water, land (including raw materials) and clean air are essential to our health and quality of life, but they are available only in limited quantities. Increasing competition for certain resources will lead to shortages and price increases that have an impact on the economy.
However, even these limited resources are used up much faster than they can be regenerated, and if we do not change our approach, they will be significantly scarce. More efficient use of resources and environmental protection can be important factors that do not inhibit the development of the economy, but even stimulate economic growth – they kind of compulsorily encourage to rely on innovative solutions, for example to reduce costs.
