The “Scandinavian Foundation” was established in order to implement activities to support economic development, entrepreneurship, sustainable development and environmental protection. The Foundation is made up of people acting in accordance with its mission. The Management Board of the Foundation prepares annual and long-term plans for the program and economic activity of the Foundation and deals with their implementation. The Management Board also adopts reports on the Foundation’s activities and balance sheets.
One of the main areas supported by the Scandinavian Foundation is combining innovative business solutions with care for the natural environment. We derive our patterns and behaviors from the Scandinavian countries. We fulfill our mission through activities and programs implemented in broad partnership. Together, we can reach a wider audience more effectively. Our goal is to undertake numerous activities for the development of entrepreneurship and increase economic activity in the region through the promotion and propagation of small enterprises and other economic ventures. We strive to raise the level of environmental awareness of the society and strengthen the sense of responsibility for the natural environment.
Scandinavian Foundation – the name of the foundation is not a coincidence. We derive our patterns and behaviors from the Scandinavian countries.
The citizens of the Scandinavian countries are considered one of the happiest people in the world. According to the Global Workforce Happiness Index report, among all countries in the world included in the survey, the highest level of job satisfaction was recorded in three Scandinavian countries: Denmark, Norway and Sweden. A cohesive society is characterized by flexible social relations, positive emotional ties between its members and the community, as well as a clear attitude towards the common good.
Scandinavians owe their high quality of life to values such as: equality, trust, friendship, commitment and work-life balance. A strong egalitarian and democratic approach to business has long meant that formal and hierarchical structures have long been replaced by functional teamwork in Scandinavia. Scandinavian culture puts the pursuit of understanding, effective and friendly cooperation as well as good relations first. Swedes, Norwegians and Danes are very kind and willing to help.
In Scandinavia, awareness of the link between a healthy corporate culture and business results is constantly growing. A good place to work is considered a prerequisite for achieving organizational goals and strategy implementation. At the same time, the consistency of employment and workplace conditions with the company’s policy has become a very important element of the employer’s external image. Such a system is amazingly effective, making the Nordic countries innovative and creative, and the Scandinavian companies successful one after the other in the global market.
Scandinavians attach great importance to ecology. There is practically no littering of the environment (forests, mountains, parks) and public places. In Scandinavia, the economy goes hand in hand with ecology. The local countries have been investing in environmental protection for years, and local entrepreneurs are aware of the natural resources that nature gives us.
